THE FALLS HARVEST FESTIVAL

Enjoy a family friendly, day-long celebration of the harvest in the Finger Lakes! Free admission and tons of fun!

The Festival will culminate with a firework display cascading from the top of Shequagua Falls in the center of the Village of Montour Falls following the live evening concert of original music by Ithaca's COMMON RAILERS from 5:00-8:00pm.

The harvest theme is woven into all activities throughout the day including live music; silly contests such as Grape Stomping, Pie Eating; educational and entertaining exhibits; artistic demonstrations such as lacemaking and chainsaw wood carving, and more! On display will be seasonal and artistic creations made by and submitted by the general public of all age categories. These displays will feature entrants of various festival competitions: SCARECROW CONTEST, SHEQUAGUA FALLS ART COMPETITION, and a PUMPKIN CARVING CONTEST.

All creative entries shall be on display throughout the day and judges will select award winners by 5:00pm. These winners will be announced soon after, from the festival's music stage by WFLR's Dick Evans, the festival's Master of Ceremonies.

Please note, entry applications for all the above competitions are required in advance for proper placement on the festival grounds. Download entry form and guidelines here.
