THE FALLS HARVEST FESTIVAL
For Vendors and Exhibitors

Welcome Vendors!

The Falls Harvest Festival, a free-to-the public festival in its second year, will be held on a busy U.S. and Canadian holiday weekend—Columbus Day.

The inaugural event and the convenient location attracted 4,000 attendees in and nearly 40 vendors and exhibitors in October 2007.

A farmers market highlighted the harvest theme as well as the scarecrow creations on display. Live music and entertainment will take place throughout the day and evening on the Entertainment Stage in the heart of the festival grounds.

Harvest is the central theme and it will be woven into all activities which emphasize hands-on, demonstration type opportunities. Crowd pleasing activities of last year's event will be back this year and, when possible, enhanced:

  • Grape Stomping Contests
  • Pie Eating Contests
  • Scarecrow Contest
  • Chainsaw Carving Artist Show
  • Straw Maze
  • Firetruck Rides
  • Antique Tractor Display
  • Please join us this year! We are seeking more vendors in 2008, especially those who highlight the season with crafts, food and personal products, decorations, produce, flowers and other creations.

Montour Falls is a picturesque setting, located just off State Route 14—the byway to the Seneca Wine Trail—and 5 minutes from Watkins Glen State Park and Seneca Lake and within 25 minutes of Corning and Ithaca—home of Cornell University and Ithaca College.

Applications are attached and are due by Friday, September 5th. Upon review by the festival committee, applicants will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis.
