The Falls Harvest Festival, a free-to-the public festival in its third year, will be held on a busy U.S. and Canadian holiday weekend, Saturday, October 10, 2009 — Columbus Day weekend.
The inaugural event and the convenient location attracted 4,000 attendees in 2007 and 5,000 attendees in 2008.
Live music and entertainment takes place all day and in the evening on the Entertainment Stage positioned in the heart of the festival grounds.
Harvest is the central theme and is woven into all activities which emphasize hands-on, demonstration type opportunities. Crowd pleasing activities will be back this year, and there will be more!
Grape Stomping Contests
Scarecrow Contest
Chainsaw Carving
Historic Ghost Walk
Straw Maze
Firetruck Rides
Face Painting
