THE FALLS HARVEST FESTIVAL CONTESTS

The remaining lazy days of summer are an ideal time for accomplishing creative projects and organizers of The Falls Harvest Festival hope to attract the most creative in all age categories. Each year the event has attracted 4,000-5,000 attendees, throughout the day. Show off your creative brilliance and artistic talent for all our area to see in the following competitions:

  • Scarecrow Contest - Sponsored by Chemung Canal Trust Company
  • Pumpkin Carving Contest - sponsored and organized by the Schuyler Teen Center
  • Art Competition - sponsored and organized by Imprintable Images

    • All creative entries shall be on display throughout the day and judges will select award winners by 5:00pm. These winners will be announced soon after, from the festival's music stage.

    Please note, contest entry applications that are underlined above, are required in advance for proper placement on the festival grounds. For contests not requiring an entry application in advance, simply report with your creation to the Festival Information Tent on the morning of the Festival.
